This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The EVS Tech II, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. The EVS Tech II is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, while ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. This role is also responsible for ensuring timely room cleans in surgical, procedural and specialty environments in order to meet facility needs. The EVS Tech II may perform additional functions as needed to provide EVS support.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 6 months experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience: 1-year environmental services experience Licensure/ Certification: Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) certification, Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification, or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification.
