Park Paving is a locally owned and operated company and has been in business for over 50 years as one the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Paving Stone Installer / Labourer.

As a Paving Stone Installer / Labourer, you will be responsible for the installation of paving stones, removal and relay of paving stones, and a variety of landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, mowing, and general maintenance of outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and grading the installation site for paving stones

• Installing paving stones according to project specifications and design

• Ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of stones

• Mixing and applying concrete or sand as necessary for installation

• Adhering to safety policies and procedures on the job site

• Assisting with the installation of landscaping materials, such as sod, trees, and shrubs

• Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as mowing, watering, and weeding

• Pruning and trimming trees and shrubs to maintain their appearance and health

• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and power tools

• Ensuring that outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained

Requirements

• Prior experience in landscaping or related field

• Experience in paving stone installation or similar construction work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong knowledge of landscaping and construction techniques

• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications

• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labour tasks

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Experience operating landscaping equipment is preferred, but not required

Pay Scale $23.50 - $26.50 per hour based on experience
