Manager, D365 Supply Chain Management

Role Overview:

  • Owns the D365 Supply Chain Management module end-to-end across solution design, configuration governance, compliance, and global adoption.
  • Shapes global supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, logistics) and aligns ERP capabilities with corporate operational and cost-optimization goals.
  • Stewards the enterprise supply chain template across corporate and properties; maintains strong controls over inventory, purchasing, and fulfillment while driving the digital supply chain roadmap.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Solution & Process Ownership

  • Define and govern end-to-end D365 Supply Chain processes across product information management, procurement, inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, and logistics.
  • Maintain the global supply chain process blueprint and enterprise SCM template.
  • Standardize processes while supporting localized operational needs.

Design, Configuration & Governance

  • Author functional design documents (FDDs) and manage the SCM product backlog.
  • Govern D365 SCM configuration, parameters, and setup to ensure consistency and performance.
  • Oversee supply chain master data (items, vendors, warehouses, BOMs, routes, etc.).
  • Owns and governs SCM-related workflows, including purchase requisition approvals, purchase order approval hierarchies, quality order workflows, and inventory adjustment approvals.
  • Ensures workflows align with internal controls, segregation of duties, and audit requirements.

Integrations, Reporting & Analytics

  • Govern integration points between SCM and Finance, e-commerce, WMS/TMS, planning tools, and other enterprise systems.
  • Partner with analytics teams to design Power BI dashboards for operational reporting (inventory visibility, supplier performance, fulfillment SLAs).
  • Ensure reporting supports real-time visibility and predictive insights.
  • Works closely with the data engineering and analytics teams to ensure deep understanding of D365 SCM data structures, entity relationships, and their impact on reporting, integrations, and master data quality.
  • Owns SCM data governance related to items, vendors, warehouses, replenishment, BOMs, routes, and costing data models.

Optimization, Releases & Innovation

  • Drive optimization and new feature adoption within D365 SCM, including regression testing and release management.
  • Identify automation opportunities to eliminate manual processes and reduce cycle times.
  • Lead pilots for new supply chain capabilities such as advanced warehousing or planning optimizations.

Risk, Compliance & Controls

  • Maintain internal controls across supply chain operations (inventory adjustments, approvals, receiving/shipping).
  • Participate in risk assessments, operational audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Ensure supply chain processes support traceability, costing accuracy, and control requirements.

Change Management & Enablement

  • Review and sign off training documents in relation to new features and enhancements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops with Operations, Procurement, Warehousing, and Finance.
  • Mentor analysts and super users; build internal D365 SCM capability across all regions.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex SCM-related issues.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partners with Executives, Operations Leadership, Finance, Product & Engineering, and implementation partners.
  • Represents SCM in ERP governance forums; presents solution recommendations, impacts, and risks.
  • Acts as the key liaison between business operations and technology teams for all SCM-related ERP initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • Microsoft certification in D365 Supply Chain Management (mandatory).
  • Deep D365 Supply Chain Management functional expertise across procurement, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, and product information.
  • Strong experience designing and configuring SCM solutions using industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with LCS, RSAT, DMF, Power BI, and core implementation tools.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive D365/AX experience in supply chain or operations leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Technology, or Business (Master’s is a plus).
  • Experience leading ERP/SCM transformations in multi-entity or multi-location organizations.

Special Skills

  • Strong enterprise template stewardship with a focus on operational controls.
  • Expert in D365 SCM tables, entities, and data models (InventDim, InventTrans, WHS tables, procurement entities, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of master planning (MRP), coverage groups, and planning optimization.
  • Experience designing and governing advanced warehouse configurations (WHS mobile device flows, work templates, location directives).
  • Deep understanding of costing methods (standard, FIFO, weighted average) and how they integrate with inventory and production postings.
  • Ability to translate complex supply chain processes into scalable D365 system designs.
  • Excellent executive communication and governance board presentation skills.

KPIs & Success Metrics

  • SCM adoption rate across business units.
  • Percentage of automated supply chain processes.
  • Inventory accuracy and stock-out reduction.
  • Reduction in process cycle times (PO lead time, warehouse throughput, fulfillment speed).
  • Hypercare defect leakage for SCM releases.
  • Improvement in on-time delivery (OTD) and service-level adherence.
  • Reduction in manual or spreadsheet-driven operational processes.

Annual Salary Range:$120,000 - $140,000 CAD

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
