Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Student to join our Irving Wallboard. This role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, supporting process improvement initiatives, data analysis, and technical problem-solving. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, production teams, and quality personnel to optimize operations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
- Collect and analyze production data to support root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support trials and experiments on the production floor, including documentation and reporting
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation
- Participate in cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting and process optimization
- Contribute to sustainability and waste reduction initiatives
- Support Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting by gathering data, updating dashboards, and analyzing trends to help drive performance improvements
- Present findings and recommendations to engineering and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis tools is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing setting is an asset but not required
