Business Development Manager - Microsoft Business Applications
About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive net-new growth across the Microsoft Business Applications space.
This is a hunting-focused B2B sales role for someone who knows how to open doors, build relationships, and create qualified pipeline. The role is best suited for someone who is comfortable with outbound sales, partner-led opportunities, consultative conversations, and longer solution-based sales cycles.
At Upzoids, we help organizations modernize service delivery and operations using Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Power Pages .
What you will be doing
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities across target accounts and industries
- Drive outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, partner channels, and direct account development
- Build qualified pipeline across public sector, not-for-profit, and enterprise organizations
- Lead early discovery and qualification conversations
- Follow up on Microsoft referrals, partner opportunities, dormant leads, and event-driven prospects
- Work closely with leadership and solution experts to move qualified opportunities into proposals and active sales cycles
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, activity tracking, and pipeline visibility
- Represent Upzoids at events, community engagements, and Microsoft ecosystem activities
What we are looking for
- 3-7 years of experience in B2B business development, sales, or pipeline generation
- Experience in IT consulting, Microsoft services, cloud solutions, or SaaS is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to generate qualified opportunities through outbound and relationship-based selling
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Comfortable engaging decision-makers and navigating complex sales cycles
- Organized, self-driven, and disciplined in follow-up and pipeline management
- Able to work closely with technical and leadership teams to position solutions effectively
Nice to have
- Experience in Microsoft partner sales or co-sell motions
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Power Pages
- Experience selling into public sector, municipal, or regulated industries
- Background in professional services or managed services sales
