About The Role Our engagements span a wide range of dispute and investigative matters, including commercial litigation, family law, fraud investigations, business valuations, business disputes, natural and man-made catastrophe claims, lost profits, and insurance-related matters. Our partners and senior professionals frequently provide litigation support and expert witness testimony in courts, arbitrations, and mediations worldwide.
We are looking for a candidate with solid experience in forensic accounting-particularly in the quantification of commercial insurance claims-who is interested in building a long-term career with our firm.
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and completing forensic accounting assignments
- Working closely with clients, participating in meetings, and presenting analytical findings
- Developing and maintaining technical expertise specific to assigned engagements
- Assisting colleagues in other offices with workload and technical issues
- Supervising and mentoring junior accountants
- Supporting business development efforts and contributing to client relationship management
- Traveling as needed based on the requirements of each assignment
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent professional qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong background in measuring commercial insurance claims, including business interruption
- Experience with cyber claims, personal injury claims, and/or accident benefits claims is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff
- Strong analytical, writing, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Driven to exceed client expectations and develop leadership capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams)
- Additional language skills are considered an advantage
