Applications are being accepted for a full-time permanent position for a Claims Technical Support Agent. This position would require at least 2 days working on-site in the Moncton Main office. In this role you will be responsible for sorting, logging and scanning returned cheques; sorting and indexing scanned claims received by Medavie Blue Cross, as well as other duties assigned by your Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, log and scan returned cheques in database
  • Action instructions received in the return cheque database
  • Remail returned cheques when applicable
  • Indexing of scanned claims by validating members and identifying claims type in the markup stamp
  • Follow business processes for the awaiting follow up queue, the re-scan requests and the recycle requests
  • Cross training of Easy Dental Validation, Dental Predeterminations and Dental Claims
  • Complete duties as assigned by the Team Leader

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Minimum six months work experience in an office and customer service environment.
  • Experience working with data entry, knowledge of claims eligibility systems, and medical terminology is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset

The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
