About the role

We have a permanent full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opening at the Kelowna General Hospital, in Kelowna, B.C. This position supports the NICU and acute care patients. This position works Sunday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00. Apply today and join our team!

About the position:

The Speech-Language Pathologist is an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.

Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).

One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
