About the role
Job Overview Broadview Psychology is currently seeking a psychologist to join our committed and compassionate practice of mental health professionals who offer assessments and treatment to clients across the lifespan. We are specifically looking for a child and adolescent psychologist to be part of our strong team of clinicians who work closely together providing comprehensive and adherent DBT, as well as CBT, ACT and EFT services. We are a clinic that emphasizes evidence-based treatment, training, and consultation/supervision so that we can deliver high quality treatment. We engage in extensive program evaluation to ensure that we are offering effective services and we are continually enhancing our services. We highly value working collaboratively as a team with each other, and with our clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and/or
- Provide individual, group, family, parent and/or couple therapy using CBT, DBT and EFT
- Participate in a weekly DBT consultation team
- Contribute to supervision, consultation, training, program development and/or program evaluation
Experience
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology
- Registration with the CBAO (or eligible for registration) as psychologist
- Competency and experience in conducting psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational testing
- Training and experience in providing CBT and DBT (or openness to learning DBT)
- Willingness and passion to provide a leadership role within the clinic
Pay: $150.00-$200.00 per hour

We are a group of highly educated and specialized clinicians who work together as a team. We offer CBT, DBT and ACT through individual, group and family therapy. We provide services to individuals with a range of challenges, including emotional and behavioural dysregulation, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, substance use disorders. We also offer psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments to children, adolescents and young adults.
We believe in working collaboratively with our clients and their families, and in doing so in a nonjudgmental and compassionate manner, with a focus on recovery and resilience.
