Position Overview:*****
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager to lead our Forecasting and Planning function at our Markham, Ontario office location. This role is pivotal in driving accurate and insightful forecasts across key business metrics including Subscribers, ARPU, and Revenue. You’ll lead the quarterly forecasting cycles, monthly target-setting processes, and annual business planning efforts — all while collaborating cross-functionally to align on key inputs and assumptions.
This is not just a leadership role — it’s a modeling-intensive position that requires deep analytical expertise and a passion for precision. You’ll manage and mentor a team of three analysts, helping them grow while rolling up your sleeves to build and refine driver-based models that elevate our planning capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead forecasting and planning for Subscribers, ARPU, and Revenue across multiple time horizons (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Own and evolve the quarterly forecast, monthly target-setting, and annual business planning cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Product, etc.) to align on assumptions and business drivers.
- Lead the weekly and monthly business performance reviews providing insights on key variance drivers to the leadership team
- Enhance existing forecasting models to be more granular, precise, and driver-based for each KPI.
- Provide actionable insights and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of three analysts — fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and growth.
- Maintain a hands-on approach to modeling, analysis, and presentation of results to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will possess:
-
7+ years of experience in forecasting, financial planning, or business analytics, ideally in a subscription-based or data-rich environment.

Proven ability to lead planning cycles and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
-
Strong business acumen and understanding of key financial and operational metrics.
-
Experience managing and mentoring high-performing analytical teams.
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
