Overview
Location: Saskatoon, SaskatchewanEmployment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Electrical Services The E/I Commissioning Coordinator (here after referred to as the E/I CC) under the direction of the Project Manager is primarily responsible for the coordination of key functions and assignments in support of the safe and efficient scope execution conducted by the Shermco E&I Commissioning team at the BHP Jansen project. The E/I CC in collaboration with the Project Manager, E/I Commissioning Supervisors and client representatives will have a dedicated focus on pre-planning, information seeking, gathering and packaging in support of day to day and shift to shift project coordination.

7/7 shift with 12-hour workdays (Overtime available) Camp accommodations provided while on rotation RRSP company matching 3 weeks paid vacation to start plus 6% flexible paid time off Extensive training and career development, including technical and safety programs All PPE, FR/AF workwear, specialty tools, and annual boot allowance provided Shermco Social Club with events like golf, bowling, lunches, and BBQs to connect with the team Responsibilities Coordinate with HBJV, Mechanical and S&PC groups in support of Shermco commissioning operations as requested/required Plan and development of isolation lists and SLD mark-ups for LOTO development Drawing mark-ups from field verification and redlines using Bluebeam and PDF Review for accuracy and gather information for test package completion. Create/build, prepare and print test packages for field use Maintain and track LOTO and subsystem status Purchasing of consumables, materials, sub-contractors, equipment (all 3rd party requirements) in consultation with/as directed by Shermco Project Manager Receiving of materials, sub-contractors, equipment (all 3rd party requirements) including management of receivables documentation (packing slips, manifest, PO’s etc.)
Coordination of deliveries to site
Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate Red Seal Instrumentation Technician Certificate or Technologist Diploma. Electrical Engineer, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Electrical Engineering Technologist Previous experience in ‘Project Coordination’ based roles. Previous experience in commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. Previous experience in ‘Potash Mine Projects’ considered an asset. Valid driver's license and clean abstract required.
