Role: TRANSFORMATION MANAGER L1 Location: Toronto
We are looking for someone to lead data management and information excellence within the AML TS Name Screening portfolio. This role will act as the primary SME responsible for data acquisition, analysis, mapping, quality assurance, testing, and ensuring adherence to data policies. In addition, you will ensure data accuracy and reliability while enabling data-driven decision making and supporting business objectives

Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manage r.Here's some of what you may be asked to perfor m:- Lead-end to-end data governance initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity across different lines of businesse s.- Collaborate with application development team and BSA's to understand the data requirements for both existing data pipelines and new data capabilitie s.- Identify opportunities to enhance existing data incident management processes by working closely with BAO's and TAO's of source system to understand end to end data flows, recommend process improvements, and implement sustainable solutions that improve data quality, operational efficiency and risk managemen t.- Own data issue management for portfolio inclusive of stakeholder communications and escalation s.- Manage relationships with delivery teams and partners, hold regular service delivery review s.- Ensures operations procedure documentation is current and readily availabl e.- Measure and monitor the service levels, analyze trends, and determine appropriate action s.- Develop and maintain monthly dashboard reflecting BAU batch trends, data concerns metrics, defect metrics, data incident trends, and associated action plans or learning s.- May monitor and coordinate operating schedules and priorities for all application-related incidents to ensure effective and efficient operations support and maintenanc e.- Work with technology partners to ensure that environmental modifications interact appropriately, data conversion impacts are considered, and other areas of impact are addressed and meet performance requirement s.- Ensure operational, reputational, and proprietary risks are minimized and focus on process improvemen t.- In partnership with other team members, ensure a close relationship is maintained with clients, to keep informed of their business needs and directio

Job Requiremen ts:- Background in data management, preferably with financial institutions (min 5yr s).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skil ls.- Hands-on experience in various tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, MS office e tc.- Use a wide range of programing languages (e.g. Python, SQL, Unix) and techniques for mining and preparing data, applying statistics and analytics, along with business acumen to extract insights from the da ta.- Familiar with relational databases, APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XL M).- Familiar with data architecture and modeling (data warehouse concepts, schema design, data integration pattern s).- Strong verbal and written communication skills and confidence to interact at senior levels in an organizati on.- Ability to lead conversations, align different stakeholders and negotiate timely resolution of production/data issu es.- Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication across different teams both on business and technology si de.- Readiness to direct the development of problem resolutions, plans and strategies for operational improvement/advanceme
