We are currently hiring an Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to work in our Mississauga, Ontario facility!
Shifts Available: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5pm

What you’ll do:
-
Process new account credit applications and program profiles, setup and maintain customers as required, distribute appropriate information to various stakeholders
-
Thorough understanding of customer account setups and invoicing procedures
-
Monitor all customer AR accounts to ensure timely payment from customers and resolve any discrepancies in a timely and accurate fashion
-
Ensure all communication as it relates to collections on customer accounts are performed in a professional manner
-
Reconcile payments as required to ensure accuracy in cash applications, and reconcile credit to debit transactions
-
Retrieve daily, weekly, monthly AR Aging reports to assist with collection efforts
-
Process month end transactions, AR statements, distribute as required
-
Process AR month end according to SOP’s
-
Takes the initiative to notice and follow-up on discrepancies; suggests improvements; recommends solutions and does what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction
-
Thorough knowledge of financial systems and other operating systems ie: SAP, OMICS,
-
Setup and maintain customer invoicing requirements as required
-
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing functions according to customer specifications and appropriate SOP’s
-
Prepare invoicing reports to support customer month end special handling requirements
-
Prepare and process invoices for web billing, e-invoicing, etc
Qualifications:
-
High School OSSD diploma or equivalent required
-
Bilingual would be an asset (English and French)
-
2-3 years experience in Invoicing, AR and Collections in an industrial environment
-
Strong business communication (both verbal and written) skills
-
Computer literacy is a must: Excel, Word, Email, Navigating Keyboard/Computer etc. (experience in SAP is a definite asset)
