Reporting to the Sr. Director, Retail, theDistrict Manager, GTA, is a strategic leadership role pivotal to driving sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence across a defined territory. This position demands a dynamic leader with strong coaching and mentoring capabilities to inspire and develop a team of high-performing Store Managers. The DM ensures the delivery of budgeted or better P&L performance by fostering a results-oriented culture, implementing effective sales strategies, and optimizing operational execution.

The role is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in retail management and sales leadership, demonstrating the ability to build cohesive teams, identify growth opportunities, and consistently deliver outstanding business results.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives to achieve both sales and margin budgets.
  • Monitor and regularly analyze P&L reports to ensure budgets are met or exceeded.
  • Implement a plan of action with measure for both areas of risk and opportunities that directly impact store sales and margin performance.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and customer experience and provide insightful reports to the Sr. Director, Retail.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Foster a high-performance culture through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Adopt a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide consistent coaching, constructive feedback, and tailored development plans to support professional growth and strengthen leadership capabilities within the team.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure all stores within the district adhere to company standards for Customer Experience, visual merchandising, and operational procedures.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions to enhance store performance and customer experience.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges promptly.
  • Provide leadership support to identify/communicate trends, risks and opportunities with new store openings, renovations, and relocations.

Customer Experience:

  • Champion initiatives to continuously deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a District Manager or in a similar multi-unit management role in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Strong ability to communicate, coach, mentor, and develop high-performance teams.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong track record of achieving sales and operational goals.
  • Strong financial acumen with analytical & problem-solving abilities, particularly in P&L management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
  • This position requires frequent travel to stores within the assigned district.
