Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior NetSuite System Analyst to join our dynamic team. This individual will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and our NetSuite platform, focusing on analyzing requirements, optimizing system configurations, and ensuring seamless integration with other business processes. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset, capable of translating complex business needs into effective NetSuite solutions and aligning technology solutions with business strategies.

What a Day In The Life Looks Like

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements across multiple business functions, translating them into clear and actionable functional specifications for NetSuite.
  • System Configuration and Optimization: Configure and customize NetSuite to meet business needs, including custom records, fields, forms, and workflows.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with developers and integration specialists to ensure seamless data flow between NetSuite and other enterprise systems (CRM, CSM, HRIS, etc.).
  • User Support and Training: Provide expert-level support to NetSuite users and troubleshoot issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize NetSuite usage and enhance business efficiency, including analysis, redesign, re-engineering, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of NetSuite configurations, processes, and integrations, including change control for requirement artifacts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, finance, sales, customer success, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test scenarios, support UAT, and manage issue remediation to ensure the quality and accuracy of NetSuite configurations and integrations. Facilitate required meetings, obtain sign-off of acceptance criteria, and manage implementation.
  • Project Coordination: Lead NetSuite projects, ensuring efficient task management and self-starting initiatives.
  • Setup, Configuration and System Maintenance: Participate in the setup, configuration, and system maintenance of the NetSuite platform and potentially third-party add-on solutions.
  • Defect and Change Request Management: Identify and assist in managing any defects and change requests.
  • Continued assessment of the systems utilized for improved functionality, efficiency, and effectiveness in a growing and changing business environment.
  • This is a remote-based role. Working pattern is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/MIS, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of relevant technical and business work experience with systems analysis or application administration.
  • 5+ years of experience as a NetSuite System Analyst or similar role, with a focus on configuration and analysis.
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation certification is strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite configuration, including custom records, fields, and workflows. Experience with Advanced Revenue, SuiteBilling, and Multi-Book preferred.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite integrations and API concepts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and customer success processes, and ERP system concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Experience in creating detailed documentation, business process analysis, and graphical depiction of business process flows.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies. Must have experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Experience with Enterprise platform technologies (i.e., Salesforce, Workday, others).
  • Proficient with tools such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Requirements elicitation.
  • Efficient task management and self-starter.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation, continuous improvement mindset, and good judgment.
