About the role
St-Augustin is a warm and welcoming residence that welcomes just over 300 independent and slightly dependent residents. We are currently seeking two part-time nursing assistant positions.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: One 16-hour/week daytime position and one 16-hour/week evening position
Salary: Starting at $25 per hour
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- PDSB training
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- Member of the OIIAQ
