Job Title: Director of Finance Job Type: Permanent role, 5 days on-site, Edmonton Alberta Job Salary: $155,000 - $165,000 / Year depending on experience.

About the Opportunity Strategic business partner providing professional insight into all aspects of the operations from procurement and inventory control to business development; Preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports to management including analysis of monthly divisional and facility results, including preparation of standard monthly reports and ad-hoc analyses when required; Develops a result-oriented finance team that drives financial performance/productivity and acts as an information service provider, ensuring appropriate leadership and guidance is provided to the various stakeholders. Maintenance of control processes to ensure responsible working capital management and efficient use of company resources; and Recommends and oversees implementation of approved capital expenditure process supporting investment decisions and required ROI (return on investment) Monitoring and oversight of the divisions internal control processes and coordination with the company's auditors to ensure efficient review and audit execution; Oversee the effective functioning of the ERP system across all Western Canada ERP; and Special project assignments, including ongoing enhancements to the company's financial reporting and control processes, specifically the Western region finance function and processing facilities.
About You Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) Experience (10 yrs+) plus a minimum of 3 years in a directly related role (Manufacturing - food preferred) Strong understanding of yield accounting and inventory costing
