Key Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead architecture, administration, and lifecycle management of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Group Policy.
- Manage and secure Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, M365 Defender).
- Design and enforce identity and access management policies including conditional access, MFA, SSO, and federation.
- Implement and monitor endpoint and server security controls—patching, anti-malware, EDR/XDR, encryption, and privileged access management.
- Act as SME for incident response and root cause analysis related to Windows, AAD, and O365.
- Partner with cybersecurity, network, and application teams to ensure a Zero Trust security posture.
- Define standards, automate administration (PowerShell, scripting), and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO27001, SOX).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years hands-on Windows Systems Engineering experience with at least 3 years in a lead role.
- Strong expertise in Azure AD/Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI.
- Proven experience managing O365 tenant at enterprise scale.
- Deep knowledge of identity security, RBAC, conditional access, federation, and hybrid identity models.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and automation.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Conditions The working conditions are those found in typical office environments.
Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods (typically 6–8 hours per day); Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment; Ability to communicate clearly in person and over phone/video calls
