The Position: We are looking for an independent contractor to teach at our Chilliwack Truth Community Connections program location. Community Connections (CC) are in person learning opportunities that are typically one-half to one full day per week, usually between 12 and 24 weeks. At CC, students participate in meaningful and hands-on activities in a class setting with a home-education flavour led by teachers with some community or parent instructors.
Science, Social Studies, Art or ADST (Grades 6-8)
0.15 FTE, one day (Tuesdays) on-site for 24 weeks at Camp Charis in Chilliwack, BC
2026-27 school year
Qualifications: BC Teacher Certification is an asset
Previous experience teaching relevant subjects
Previous experience teaching CC/CC+ is preferred
Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, coordinator and other team members
Flexible attitude towards adapting to students and situation
Demonstrate alignment with the following attitudes and attributes:

What we offer: Competitive Wage:$9,500-$10,300 for the school year, based on 0.15 FTE and depending on experience and certifications
