About the role
Join an exciting new YouTube channel focused on bringing real court cases to life through engaging 2D animation. This role is ideal for a creative animator who can transform provided scripts into compelling visual stories. The videos will vary in length from 5 to 20 minutes, offering a unique opportunity to showcase your animation skills on a range of legal topics. This is a remote, project-based position with the potential for ongoing collaboration if the initial project is successful.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animated videos based on detailed scripts about court cases
- Collaborate closely to ensure the animations accurately reflect the tone and content of each case
- Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
- Edit and assemble final video files for YouTube publication
- Manage project timelines to deliver videos within agreed deadlines
- Incorporate feedback and revisions as needed to achieve the desired outcome
Skills And Requirements
- Proficiency in 2D animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, or similar tools
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills
- Ability to interpret scripts and translate them into engaging animated sequences
- Creative approach to illustrating legal and courtroom scenarios
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, professional content
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently on remote projects
- Prior experience with YouTube content or educational animation is a plus
- Open to animators at entry to mid-level experience
