About the role
##Position Overview
Reporting to the Supervisor of Quality Control and Assurance, the Quality Assurance Analyst plays a key role in supporting Apex Precision’s quality management system by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of quality documentation. This role goes beyond administrative support to include document review, analysis, and continuous improvement of documentation processes in alignment with aerospace standards (AS9100 / AS9102).
##Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and validate quality documentation packages for customer orders (Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, inspection reports, etc.)
- Analyze documentation for compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace standards (AS9100 / AS9102)
- Lead or support the preparation and review of First Article Inspection (FAI) reports (AS9102 forms)
- Act as a point of contact for customer documentation requests and ensure timely, accurate responses
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in documentation and proactively follow up with internal stakeholders
- Maintain and continuously improve document control processes to enhance efficiency, traceability, and audit readiness
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is complete, accessible, and compliant
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Shipping teams to ensure documentation alignment with product and customer requirements
- Track and report on documentation-related issues or trends, recommending corrective actions where needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and documentation processes
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
##Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace quality environment
- Strong understanding of quality documentation requirements and traceability principles
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and drive resolution
- Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP system experience is an asset
- Experience with document control systems or quality management systems (QMS) is an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English) required to support customer documentation and communication
