Full Time Security Guard - Alliston/Barrie
About the role
Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across Alliston/Simcoe Region
At Securiguard our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.
Pay rate: $18.50/hr - $20.00/hr (Depending on Position)
Location: Alliston/Shelburne
Timings (Days or Nights)
Must-Have Requirements:
ValidOntario Security Guard License
Standard First AidCPR Level C with AED
Strongcommunicationandactive listeningskills
ValidG2/G Driver's Licensewith access to a personal vehicle
Ability to commute within theAlliston/Simcoeregion
Comfortable usingtwo-way radios, dispatch systems, and CCTV
Proven ability todeescalate conflictsand respond to security incidents (medical, fire alarms, crisis situations)
Minimum1 year of security experience(industrial/manufacturing/warehouse/construction preferred)
Physically able tostand and walk for up to 12 hours
Strongproblem-solving, judgment, and crowd managementskills
Nice to have:
Tactical Security and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement is an asset
Use of force training and/or Military/Law Enforcement background is an asset.
Having a clean drivers absent is an asset
Having a smart serve certification is an asset
