Key Responsibilities

  • Able to defend the position and posture of the Product group both internally and externally to the firm to ensure that a decade's worth of steady Product Model momentum is not eroded by outside forces (whether intentionally or unintentionally)
  • support working in given priority order, namely: production support, project support, product owner support, main branch development.
  • Technical point of contact during pre-sales period and POC for Solutions SE and Product Marketing SE. Initial POC for all technical matters to Instants Product Marketing Management and Owners for customer queries
  • Facilitate communication and coordination of cross-product initiatives (with other product verticals)
  • Define, standardize and oversight for teams SLA, OLA & KPIs to ensure operational efficiency and cross-discipline effectiveness.
  • Responsible for cross-discipline alignment between engineering, delivery, and support for all technical matters (and aligned to program manager schedule)
  • Contribute to backlog grooming, scope definition for each main branch cycle, road map setting – the long- and short-term planning
  • Investigates and objectively reports on systemic failures within the group.
  • Oversight for CR and RCA & Corrective action plan(s) to remedy process failures or shortcomings
  • Support other BRIGHTSTAR verticals like InfoSec and audit etc.
  • Ideally has plenty of experience within the firm and knows how to navigate the organization to connect with colleagues to drive desired results
  • Maintain and facilitate 3rd party technology and engineering relationships and engagements.
  • Technical and Operation guidance for Cloud DEVOPS, Cost Optimizations, Automation, Data Migration and Monitoring

Other

  • Deep understanding of Brightstar's lottery solutions including transaction engine, Instants and ordering with multi-year experience managing & delivering enterprise solutions across global sites
  • Responsible for researching and investigating topics that do not fit cleanly within the engineering, delivery, or support areas of responsibility. Including proof of concept work and producing a recommended strategy based on research and POC (e.g. Use of CoPilot and ChatIGT)
  • Designee for special and/or internal non-R&D projects
  • Responsible for and/or facilitates special engagements (e.g. California Corrective Action Plan engagement)
