About this Role

We are looking for a Pediatric Financial Coordinator to join our progressive, state-of-the-art practice. This permanent, full-time opportunity is distributed across our five modern Edmonton locations. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented professional who excels at building meaningful connections with patients, parents, and team members alike. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude and professional commitment and thrives in a friendly team-orientated environment.

Responsibilities & Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage all aspects of insurance administration including filing and submitting claims, direct billing, and liaising with insurance companies by phone Communicate with patients and families regarding insurance coverage, fees, invoices and statements Manage accounts receivable and monitor production and collection Process payments including electronic submissions and close a balanced day Help with administrative tasks such as checking-in patients, booking appointments, etc. when needed Compile, print, scan and organize financial reports and statements Additional duties as required

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a professional who demonstrates the following clinical and interpersonal skills: High School Diploma or equivalent Proficient in English, both written and verbal Computer proficient; able to learn new software quickly. Ortho2Edge and Curve Hero are used at our clinic Experience in reception or administrative work, preferably in a dental setting Experience as a Dental Financial coordinator is an asset Excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone Available to work during applicable business hours Willing to travel between multiple clinic locations within the Edmonton Area
