What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be supporting the Data Analytics and Decision Science Director in the Investor’s Edge (IE) division in providing advanced analytics services to drive digital sales and business results. You’ll lead the design, development, and implementation of actionable machine learning models and analytics solutions which help in strengthening the competitive advantage for IE. You’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, product and operation teams to identify and address business needs by leveraging data and analytics.

  • Digital Analytics & Business Insights - Actively lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex data analytics and visualization solutions.Prepare presentations that clearly and concisely communicate key findings and objectives.
  • Customer segmentation and Predictive modeling - Utilize expertise in Statistical and Machine Learning to develop predictive models for customer segmentation and targeted marketing campaigns. Mine and analyze data from company databases and provide insights to drive optimization of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies. Identify new digital sales opportunities to address current or potential opportunities to grow revenue and improve profitability.
  • Campaign design and management - Responsible for pre-campaign analysis, understanding key customer journeys and segments across digital channels to provide recommendations on how to personalize and optimize cross channel strategy to improve customer engagement and drive sales. Responsible for in-campaign analysis, analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by monitoring E2E campaign activities daily. Frequently liaise with key partners and peers to understand campaign requirements, provide expertise on proper experiment design, determine key performance indicators, collect and analyze data. Work with peers and technology teams to design post-campaign marketing performance reporting. Communicate insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Data Management - Work collaboratively with partners to augment/acquire internal and external data and tools. Contribute to the development and management of data sourcing process. Perform data exploration and integration. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. Develop strategies that ensure data accuracy, consistency, timely capture and standardization at the various levels. Design solutions to support optimization and automation of processes and reporting.
  • Data Science Expertise - Provide advanced analytics solutions to solve business problem leveraging traditional statistical, machine learning and optimization techniques. Ability to conduct self-directed research, typically using non-traditional resources to solve business problems.
  • Business Consulting - Conduct business problem assessment independently. Gather relevant information related to business processes, functions and operations to evaluate data credibility and quality. Utilize creative thinking to modify or select the most suitable procedure/approach to solve a business problem. Perform in-depth analysis for the purpose of identifying revenue generating and cost saving opportunities, developing proposals and make recommendations for model usage to the downstream partners.
  • Innovative Problem Solving - Actively lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex data analytics and visualization solutions. Focus on quality, depth of analysis, and clear communication of actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration - Continuous collaboration with internal and external partners is key to success. Be open-minded, constantly acquire new knowledge, and share ideas to improve existing processes.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience in working with large datasets including both structured and unstructured data and related tools (e.g., SQL, Hive, PySpark). Must have experience coding in high level programming languages such as Python, SAS or PySpark. Extensive experience with PySpark is desired.
  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Physics, Economics or related quantitative field.
  • You're digitally savvy. You have technical knowledge specific to digital marketing & analytics, you seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You can easily adapt to new tools and trends. Experience with Adobe Analytics and funnel.io would be preferred.
  • Strong analytic skills including a track record of making recommendations based on data driven business insights.
  • Working knowledge of marketing optimization tools and are proficient in using them to derive digital campaign performance.
