About the role
Senior Project Manager – Digital Innovation (In-Office – Toronto)
Now Brewing – Senior Project Manager! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection.
We’re looking for a strategic and tech-savvy Digital Innovation Project Manager, Sr. to join our Product, Loyalty & Marketing Operations (PMO) team. This is a unique opportunity to blend strategy, technology, and creativity to shape the future of how Starbucks connects with customers in Canada.
As a Senior Project Manager – Digital Innovation, you will:
- Develop and maintain a digital innovation roadmap aligned with business and marketing objectives.

- Partner with the Go-to-Market (GTM) team to operationalize new processes, supporting change management and successful adoption across the organization
- Serve as a subject matter expert on emerging media tools and technologies, educating internal and external stakeholders on capabilities, best practices, and business value and support training and enablement as needed.
- Ensure all technologies and implementations adhere to Starbucks privacy, security, and governance standards.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital media, advertising operations, or related fields.
- 3+ years of project management experience, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
- Proven experience developing and executing digital innovation roadmaps, including managing proof-of-concept pilots and vendor evaluations.
- Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing marketing and advertising technologies in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including experience with Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) such as DV360 or The Trade Desk.
- Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), ad serving technologies, and audience activation strategies.
- Knowledge of tagging, data onboarding, and campaign measurement methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting training, enablement, or change management initiatives related to new tools or processes.
