Our focus in Neurodevelopmental Diversity means clients across the lifespan seek our diagnostic and treatment services for ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism and associated mental health concerns like anxiety, trauma, and depression. We are seeking a Psychiatrist, Child or Adult, to join our innovative team, offering virtual, in-person, or hybrid services to support our diverse client base.

You are a Psychiatrist who is passionate about helping with individuals, particularly those with Neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD. You are eager to share your expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, while remaining curious to learn and grow in the field of Neurodevelopmental Diversity. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy contributing to team meetings with professionals from Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Psychology, and value working together to create comprehensive treatment plans. Position Overview:

We are looking for a Psychiatrist to provide assessments, treatment, and consultation services for individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly Autism and related mental health concerns. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with Physicians, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other healthcare professionals. This role offers a supportive and flexible work environment, allowing for both personal and professional growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments for clients with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly ADHD and associated disorders.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to review assessment results, discuss diagnoses, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide feedback to clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Adapt to virtual work models, conducting assessments through secure virtual platforms when necessary.
  • Provide both short-term and long-term treatment options, including psychopharmacology, behavioral therapies, family counseling, and support for social and emotional development.
  • Work closely with the assessment team to integrate findings into treatment planning.
  • Deliver therapy and counseling services through virtual platforms, in-person, or hybrid models based on client needs. Ensure thorough, accurate client documentation and compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Your Qualifications:

  • Medical degree and valid Psychiatrist license in Ontario (or eligible for registration).
  • Experience or a strong interest in working with individuals with ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team setting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with the latest research in Neurodevelopmental care and evidence‑based psychiatric treatments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
