Job Summary: We’re looking for someone who embraces change, takes initiative, and thrives on delivering outstanding results for clients. You’ll join a highly collaborative team leading the rollout of our products to clients across Canada.

As a Software Specialist, you’ll bring a diverse technical skill set and play a key role in ensuring smooth implementations. You will support the delivery of REST APIs and ISO 20022 integrations, manage certificates, and work across backend processes to help clients onboard successfully. You’ll also coordinate and support the day to day needs of our product delivery, ensuring an exceptional client experience from start to finish.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support client onboarding and integration with Central1’s Digital Finance System Platform.
  • Configure environments across AWS, Azure, and MuleSoft.
  • Assist with client testing and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Recommend process and system improvements to enhance onboarding efficiency.
  • Oversee application health by monitoring, coordinating, and reporting on service impacting events.
  • Participate in a rotating 24×7 oncall support schedule.
  • 3+ years of experience in a largescale IT environment (Software Development, Software Support, or DevOps), preferably in financial services
  • Strong background in application support, maintenance, and operational processes
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues across software, infrastructure, security, and vendor platforms
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Solid understanding of payment systems, banking platforms, and financial transaction workflows
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong ownership and follow through
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Effective, systematic problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, handle multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines

What you'll have:

  • Working knowledge of MuleSoft and cloud platforms, especially Azure, AWS.
  • Experience with realtime transaction systems, batch processing, and APIs.
  • Proficiency with MS SQL, MySQL, and related technologies.
  • Handson experience in application/system troubleshooting and scripting/programming.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, mTLS, and certificate management.

Salary range : $60,000-$71,000

The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
