About the role

Description Location: Laval Operating Room

Schedule: Part-time – 3 days/week (possibility of more depending on needs)

Shift: Day/evening (2 p.m. to 10 p.m.)

Salary: From $26.00 to $32.50/h

Our Values Passion | Respect | Integrity | Commitment | Innovation Your Role Under the supervision of the Operating Room Manager and the URDM Manager, you will play a key role in the quality and safety of care provided to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the collection, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of medical instruments
  • Reassemble trays according to established procedures
  • Reprocess and disinfect endoscopes
  • Conduct quality control tests required by the department
  • Maintain the integrity of equipment and working environments work
  • Participate in the reception and distribution of orders
  • Ensure the application of operating room policies and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with operating room teams to ensure optimal quality of care
  • Participate in certain administrative tasks and site maintenance

Requirements Requirements:

  • DEP or DEC in medical device reprocessing
  • Significant experience in a healthcare setting (major asset)
  • Knowledge of standards and best practices in Sterilization
