About the Role
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of innovative products that support injury relief and muscle strengthening. You'll be responsible for generating novel product concepts that are physiologically effective, manufacturable, and stand out in a crowded market. An industrial design background is essential, along with experience developing both hard and soft goods.
Key Responsibilities
1) Concept Exploration
- Generate 10-20+ diverse concepts per product brief exploring different approaches to solving the problem
- Synthesize insights from physiotherapists, engineers, marketing, and manufacturing into product concepts
- Rapidly visualize concepts through sketching, rendering, or quick mockups
2) Product Development
- Own the product vision and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing to execute it.
- Manage timelines, ensure alignment, and oversee manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
3) Prototyping, Testing & Validation
- Build and Iterate Across Fidelity Levels : Create and refine low-, mid-, and high-fidelity prototypes at different stages of development to evaluate fit, function, and overall usability.
- 3D Modeling & Printing : Use basic CAD, and desktop 3D printing to support rapid iterations and move progressively toward production-ready designs.
- Hands-On and User Testing : Test prototypes in-house and with real users to gather performance, comfort, and usability insights.
- Incorporate Feedback : Run interviews and surveys, synthesize feedback, and apply learnings to inform design improvements.
- Validate for Production : Ensure final prototypes meet quality, durability, and manufacturability standards before handoff to manufacturing.

- Prolific Concept Generation : Generates 10-20+ innovative, diverse product concepts per brief - not just iterating on existing solutions
- Divergent Thinking : Explores wide range of creative solutions; thrives in early, ambiguous stages of product development
- Visual Communication : Quickly communicates ideas through sketching, rendering, or digital tools
- Materials & Manufacturing Knowledge : Experienced developing hard and soft goods across various materials and methods
- Mass Production Experience : Understands what makes a product manufacturable at scale—tooling, tolerances, assembly, and cost implications
- 3D CAD & Prototyping : Creates models and builds rapid prototypes using 3D printing and off-the-shelf parts
- Results-Oriented with Ownership : Takes full responsibility for leading products from initial concept through mass production
- Hands-On & Detail-Oriented : Builds quick mockups, tests ideas early, ensures precision throughout
