This role focuses on strengthening community engagement and building meaningful relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders. You will help design and implement outreach strategies that connect local communities, organizations, and partners with programs and services that create real social impact. The position blends relationship management, communications, and marketing support in a highly collaborative environment. You will play a key role in organizing events, managing feedback loops, and identifying new partnership opportunities that expand reach and visibility. The role also includes contributing to digital marketing and content initiatives across social media and web platforms. It is well suited to someone who is both people-oriented and highly organized, with a passion for community impact and engagement. Accountabilities
Support the development and execution of community engagement strategies targeting local organizations, businesses, institutions, and residents. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, educational institutions, nonprofits, and employer associations. Coordinate and participate in outreach activities, events, workshops, and initiatives that promote programs and services. Serve as a key point of contact for partner inquiries, feedback, and ongoing relationship management. Identify and support the development of new partnership opportunities to expand community reach and impact. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns aligned with engagement objectives. Contribute to reporting on partnership activities and provide insights to improve engagement effectiveness. Assist in the creation and scheduling of digital content across social media, websites, blogs, and email campaigns.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of experience in community outreach, partnership development, marketing, or related roles. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse groups. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through. Familiarity with digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing systems, and content management tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Strong writing and content creation skills are an asset. Experience in event planning, nonprofit work, sales, or creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is considered an advantage.
