ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all assigned projects, achieving project KPIs, and developing strong working relationships with all project stakeholders. The Project Manager represents Farmboy’s suite of services as assigned, with a focus on Product & Advisory revenue streams. They service clients, consider their needs, and manage their expectations in consideration with Farmboy mandates.

CORE FUNCTION

• Ensure the commercial targets of the project are met, responsible for management of both team hours and all project costs to achieve target margins. Monitor team hours, own responsibility for scope management, set clear expectations with team & client.

• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Set expectations clearly, owning client communication flow and documentation and tracking of that communication.

• Organize and ensure the correct flow of appropriate client information and references to the team, ensure accurate tracking of project data and context in associated systems.

• Develop and manage project plan & timeline in concert with Art Director and client, coordinate delivery of work and ensure all project processes are consistent with and support established goals, objectives, and policies.

• Ensure projects are executed within appropriate budgets and within the required schedules.

• Lead the Jr. Project Manager, coaching them towards high quality output and efficient execution.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION

• Establish Project scope as well as project prioritization on an ongoing basis.

• Take a proactive, solution-based approach to ensure projects are always moving forward.

• Follow Farmboy SOPs and recommend changes to improve project workflows.

• Ramp up project set-up in Farmboy systems incl. but not limited to project & opportunity codes and applicable briefing documentation.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and fabricators including quoting, sampling, and VE exercises.

• Review specification packages ensuring correct documentation and package accuracy.

• Create client quotes while maintaining appropriate tier margins.

• PO processing including RFI’s, final margin checking, production proofs etc.

• Specification design & development, providing VE & creative product solutions.

• Manage client expectations effectively regarding Farmboy process, lead times, allocated project hours and creative packages.

• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues according to project work plan.

• Report on current opportunities and client activity on an ongoing basis.

• Prospect new project work with existing clients as well as project close-out follow-up.

• Actively participate in daily team meetings, and other company meetings as necessary.

• All other duties as required and assigned.

YOU BRING:

• 2-3 years experience in project management administration or coordination

• Strong leadership abilities with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies

• A process driven mindset and with a high attention to detail

• Strong time and resource management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Collaborative approach to your work

• Excellent organizational skills

• PMP Certification (would be an asset)
