Project Manager, Marketing
Safe Software is looking for a Project Manager to join our Marketing team. As a Project Manager, Marketing you will be accountable for driving the successful planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives. This role ensures that projects—from campaigns to product launches and branding efforts—are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with strategic marketing goals.
Key Goals:
Lead and manage marketing projects through all phases, from initiation to post-launch review
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across marketing, design, product, and sales teams
Optimize project workflows and tools to improve efficiency and visibility
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure marketing objectives are met

What You’ll Be Doing
Day to day, you may find yourself doing the following:
Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholders
Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Lead project meetings including kick-offs, status check-ins, and retrospectives
Coordinate with content, design, digital, and product marketing teams to ensure project cohesion
Act as the central point for project updates, risk identification, and resolution
Monitor and manage project budgets to maintain financial accountability
Evaluate resource needs and balance workloads to meet deadlines
Champion and refine project management tools and workflows (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira)
Promote marketing operations best practices to enhance team productivity
- Track KPIs and campaign performance to report on project effectiveness and impact
What We’re Looking For
Safer’s come from a variety of backgrounds with diverse skills and knowledge. That being said, those who are most successful in this role have experience with the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
1-3+ years of experience managing marketing projects or integrated campaigns
Proven ability to navigate fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Familiarity with digital marketing, creative production, and campaign lifecycles
Proficient in project management tools and methodologies
Understanding of marketing technology stacks and performance metrics
Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
Clear communicator with a focus on collaboration and transparency
Strategic mindset with analytical problem-solving skills
Adaptable and resilient when managing change or ambiguity
- Detail-oriented while maintaining focus on high-level outcomes
Desired skills / Bonus points:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a strong asset
