We are seeking a detail-oriented and organizedAccounts Receivable Coordinatorto join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the collection of customer accounts, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to support timely payments. This position plays a key role in maintaining the company’s cash flow and financial stability. Are you an energetic and team-oriented collaborator with experience in Accounts Receivables? Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities
  • Follow up with clients via phone, email, or mail regarding outstanding invoices
  • Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Prepare aging reports and escalate collection issues when necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all receivables and collection activities
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service to resolve billing issues
  • Assist with month-end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Comply with company policies and accounting standards
  • Support audits and provide requested documentation

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience, preferably in the waste or environmental services, manufacturing or logistics sector.
  • Bilingual (English & French) strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel in addition to Accounting Software systems such as Business Central.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to process information quickly using multiple sources.
  • Open to direction and feedback from team members to ensure accurate and consistent work.
  • A customer focused approach to dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to function in a deadline driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with employees at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary- $55,000 - $60,000

Onsite– Oakville
