How your role will add to the story:

The Sales Operation Specialist prepares for sales management and executives with timely, accurate and pertinent reports and analysis related to dealer and fleet performance as well as sales operation topics. The position provides in depth knowledge of market and segment analysis across multiple areas to synthesize trends, issues and areas of focus to ensure the achievement of sales and financial target for all MB Canada dealers. The Sales Operation specialist will also have a crucial role on VPC operation for Van vehicles. The position will be responsible for all the follow up of vehicles coming from Germany and US through this VPC and also for securing the correct logistic follow up and back office on the route from the VPC towards the Canadian dealers and Fleet Customers.

A day in the life

Logistics and Back-office support (30%)

  • Follow up, provide the analysis and distribute the reports related to all the vehicles coming to Canada from different VPCs and take necessary action to make sure smooth delivery of the vehicles to the dealers or fleet customers in Canada
  • Analysis includes a constant communication with the logistic team within vans and MB Canada and reports to the Sales Operation Manager.
  • Leading the PR, PO, Invoice submission in FIORI and BASWARE in relation to Vans Sales topics.
  • Manage and process the vans that need to be sent to Auction.

Ad-hoc Analysis (25%)

  • Prepare the dealer visit deck for senior management team in head office and coordinator with pre-owned VAN and aftersales team for the development of all KPIs.
  • Build the presentation on both National and Regional level when required for the EXCOM/Townhall and provide the summary page in regard to a brief SWOT analysis.
  • Assist Sales planning and Operation Manger for all ad-hoc reports/ presentations if necessary.

National Fleet support (20%)

  • Support the National Fleet team with back-office tasks when it comes to ordering and allocation topics.
  • Track and report National fleet performance for allocation shifts, Fleet forecasting, ordered vehicles, in pipeline, sold.

Reports (15%)

  • Assist Sales Operation Manager in generating the sales channel reports for next 24 months as part of volume planning task.
  • Prepare and report Detailed Stock report on a monthly basis to Stock Management Team to monitor ideal stock reach setting for MB Canada.
  • Prepare and report month end results to MB AG in MAPIS.

Pipeline Tracking (10%)

  • Assist and backup to Sales Operation Manager to estimate the inbound pipeline to all regions on a weekly basis.

Qualifikationen

Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits:

  • University degree, preferably in Business or Marketing.
  • 2–3 years of experience in automotive sales, marketing, planning, or sales operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and BI systems (SAP, Power BI).
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Skilled in data collection, analysis, evaluation, and presentation.
  • Familiar with the Mercedes-Benz lineup, large Van segment, and key competitors.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Able to manage multiple reports/presentations and prioritize tasks independently and with a team.
  • Bold, innovative and enjoy challenging yourself

  • Big picture thinker, go-getter, self-starter
