About the role

The Senior Investment Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and comprehensive investment reporting for the Investment Division. This includes preparing, consolidating, and analyzing financial information to support internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external reporting requirements.
What you will do:
- Compile, analyze, and summarize investment activity and holdings to support both internal and external reporting
- Preparation of working papers for financial statements, MD&A investment disclosures, tax reports, and regulatory and compliance reporting
- Develop accurate financial analysis and reports for senior management, ensuring clarity and reliability of information
- Prepare and review the investment allocation by segment for income and balance sheet reporting
- Reconcile investment earnings to the general ledger and prepare quarter-end journal vouchers
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through process improvements and automation to streamline processes
- Provide ad-hoc investment data analysis and reporting to support business needs
What you will bring:
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- Enrollment in the CPA program, or progress toward the designation, is considered an asset
- Experience in business, financial, or data analysis preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
This position will be located in the Winnipeg head office.
The base salary for this position is between**$57,100 - $85,600**annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
