Midland is on an exciting transformation journey to improve customer experience and modernize our operations. As we kick this off, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Transformation Team. Located in the Irving Building in Dieppe and reporting to the Senior Director, Business Transformation. The role blends structured project management with Scrum leadership to deliver value through iterative execution. We are looking for an experienced leader to ensure business outcomes are achieved while managing execution. Hybrid Project Management & Delivery:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project delivery plans that integrate iterative delivery (sprints / increments) with broader program timelines, key milestones, and dependencies
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Lead the tracking and communication of initiative health, providing transparency through executive dashboards, status reports, and steering updates

Scrum Master Leadership:

  • Lead and own Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring teams remain focused and continuously improve
  • Support Product Owners in backlog prioritization and ensuring stories are ready for development
  • Remove blockers and protect the team from outside distractions and scope creep
  • Build a high-performing team, Coach the team on agile values, fostering a collaborative, adaptive environment

Stakeholder Alignment & Change Enablement:

  • Build trusted relationships with business sponsors, technology leaders, and functional teams

  • Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and decisions, ensuring shared understanding

  • Support change management and adoption activities tied to project outcomes

  • You have 7+ years managing large-scale projects in a hybrid delivery environment (mix of agile and traditional controls)

  • You have 3+ years serving as Scrum Master for agile software or product teams

  • University degree (business/engineering/computer science) or related field

  • Proven success aligning iterative delivery with milestone-driven organizational goals

  • Experience in the Transportation Industry is considered an asset

  • Strong leadership, coaching and facilitation skills, able to guide diverse teams toward shared goals

  • Strategic mindset with keen attention to execution details

  • Excellent communication and ability to tailor messaging for executives, business, and technical audiences

  • Passion for continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative team culture

  • PMP (or equivalent project certification) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification
