Job Title – Okta CIC (Auth0) Expert – Architecture & Design + Hands-on Development/Implementation Location – Remote (Canada). Must be available to collaborate with the client during required UAE working hours, including a standing collaboration session from 3:00–4:00 PM UAE time. Up to 20 hours per week. Role Type – Contract
Must Have Skills: Expert-level experience with Okta Customer Identity Cloud (Auth0), including both solution architecture/design and hands-on implementation. Proven experience designing and implementing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions using Okta/Auth0. Strong expertise with Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols, including SAML and OIDC. Experience integrating Auth0 with client applications, configuring authentication and user registration flows, and supporting production deployments. Must be authorized to work from the Canada and available to support required UAE client working hours.
Responsibilities and Job Details: Lead the architecture and design of a new outcome-based Okta/Auth0 CIAM implementation. Translate discovery sessions and proof-of-concept findings into a scalable technical solution architecture. Configure Okta/Auth0 environments for both non-production and production. Develop implementation plans, technical documentation, and solution architecture deliverables. Conduct discovery workshops covering user registration, authentication, account recovery, profile management, and additional customer identity flows. Integrate Auth0 with client applications for SSO, Identity Provider (IdP) support, authentication, registration, and login experiences. Configure contextual Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), including passwordless authentication where appropriate. Produce integration documentation and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshooting activities. Provide post-production support, including onboarding additional users, application integrations, tenant configuration, and knowledge transfer. Participate closely with client program management and technical teams throughout architecture, implementation, and go-live activities. This engagement is estimated at up to 20 hours per week (approximately 370 total project hours) and consists of a two-phase implementation, with Phase 2 contingent upon successful completion of the initial architecture and design phase.
