Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and learn about production processes, quality control, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of production database software to enhance operational efficiency
  • Update and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various production tasks
  • Develop and assist with automated reports using Power Automate and Power BI
  • Support the improvement of production QA stations by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and reports
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to identify and implement process improvements
  • Help design and develop new production systems to improve workflow and productivity
  • Utilize ERP software for tracking production activities, inventory management, and generating reports
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for process optimization
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of production goals

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields)
  • Strong interest in gaining practical experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or database management systems is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • 3D printing expertise preferred
  • CAD design experience for 3D printing and other projects, SolidWorks experience preferred
  • Reading and understanding electrical schematics

Req Benefits: Benefits Provided: All Intern Canada employees receive: Vacation; three weeks per year accrued each pay period. Sick (paid time off); 6 days for use as sick or personal time. Holidays: 11 (eleven) paid holidays per calendar year.

Compensation: $20.00 - 27.00
