Job Overview SRG is currently recruiting an experienced Parts Technician to join our team in Cold Lake. This position plays a key role in supporting both shop and field mechanics by efficiently sourcing, ordering, and managing parts and inventory. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in parts procurement within a heavy-duty mechanical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Source and procure parts, tools, and materials to support shop and field mechanical operations.
  • Create, receive, and complete purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of parts.
  • Coordinate with mechanical staff to understand parts requirements and prioritize urgent needs.
  • Monitor and track parts deliveries and maintain organized records.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with mechanics, vendors, and management.
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the Cold Lake shop as needed.
  • Ensure all parts handling and storage practices meet company and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Certified Parts Technician designation is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the heavy equipment or oilfield services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and equipment.
  • Proficient in using inventory and procurement software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis.
