About the role
This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means 2 days on-site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.
ATB’s next Agile Delivery Lead / Agile Coach is a unique opportunity to join an experienced Agile team and help facilitate the growth and evolution of the practice at the organizational level. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning with, leading, organizing, and motivating 3 software delivery teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality, while helping to scale agile methods in a fast-paced environment.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with teams and leaders to review improvement to the overall system of delivery, removing bottlenecks and improving flow of value.
- Protect the squads ability to deliver and execute, keeping them organized, on track and focused on what matters most.
- Facilitate squad and Enterprise events including but not limited to sprint planning, sprint demo,retrospective meetings and Program Increment (PI) Planning.
- Collaborate with teams to define and mature key performance metrics and outcomes, leveraging analytical skills to measure squad level progress and connect it to meaningful business outcomes.
- Facilitate the identification and resolution of risks, blockers, and impediments at the squad and Enterprise level
- Support teams optimize their workflows and processes to increase efficiency and predictability.
- Embrace change, influence and coach team members on agile principles and practices
- Collaborate with product owners and development leads to shape the backlog of work for the squads
- Experience in agile visualization and project management tool sets (Miro, JIRA, etc.)
- Collaborate with other Agile Delivery Leads to facilitate increasing maturity and effectiveness in the application of Agile principles across the organization.
Skills, experience & requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in leading or coaching role within an Agile environment where Agile principles, practices and theory were diligently applied.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with proven experience using various data analysis software and some coding ability to interpret metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
- Practical experience with any of the key disciplines required in agile delivery – such as software development, product management, quality assurance, or business (system) analysis
- Demonstrate experience being collaborative, team oriented and are comfortable managing relationships across the organization in a wide range of roles and at differing levels across the organization
- Agile certification from an industry accepted organization or equivalent and significant experience with Agile principles and practices
- A passion for agile delivery and the ability to influence pragmatic change while enabling high performance delivery
