We are currently looking for highly motivated Seasonal Guest Experience Representatives to join our team at Hillcrest Mall. At Oxford, we have a commitment to customer service excellence and we strive to achieve this goal through every interaction, everyday. As a Seasonal Guest Experience Representative, you are an ambassador for Hillcrest Mall and must ensure professionalism, pride, and passion each and everyday.

Hillcrest Mall is open Monday-Saturday from 10AM-8PM and Sunday 11AM-7PM. Shifts can begin as early as 8AM and end as late as 10PM. These hours will vary based on special events and changes in operational hours.

Flexible availability is required for this role. We require a minimum availability of 3 days per week (including weekends). When submitting an application for this role, kindly include an up-to-date resume with your weekly availability clearly highlighted.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively seek opportunities to create memorable guest experiences by assisting guests and providing exceptional service.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the shopping centre’s services,amenities/facilities, stores, brands and promotional activities.
  • Deliver all services offered at the Guest Experience locations – including selling the Gift Card PLUS.
  • Assist guest by providingdirections/information, answering questions, and performing other centre specific services as assigned.
  • Stay relevant in fashion, maintain brand knowledge including price points, and gift suggestions to ease shopper’s path to purchase.
  • Proactively listen to identify and deliver on customers needs.
  • Communicate effectively with shoppers, retailers, centre management and all shopping centre personnel.
  • Work closely with the Management Office and the Marketing Department to assist with marketing needs
  • Maintain supply stock of promotional items

To succeed in this role, you:

  • High School Education; post-secondary education preferred in a related field of study (i.e. Hospitality,Marketing/Communications, Real Estate/Property Management, etc.)
  • Previous guest services or customer service experience (required)
  • A positive attitude and a strong desire to provide excellent guest experiences
  • The ability to effectively and politely communicate with shoppers, retailers, Centre Management, Service Providers, all shopping centre personnel
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Conflictresolution/management skills
  • A friendly, approachable, proactive and solution focused attitude
  • Computer skills – including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets and Social Media tools and services
  • Organization and time management skills
  • The ability to adapt quickly to change in work requirements with the ability to canre-prioritize tasks as needed
  • The ability to engage in physical activities including but notlimited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending

The expected hourly range for this position is $18-19/hour.
