Build the future of AI-native products in private equity Our client, a leading Toronto-based private equity firm managing over $20B in assets, is building the next generation of internal platforms that transform how investment professionals interact with data, workflows, and decision-making.
This is not a typical frontend role. It’s an opportunity to define AI-native user experiences in a high-performance, high-impact environment — where design, data, and engineering come together to shape how investment decisions are made.
What you’ll do
- Own the frontend foundation for AI-driven products used across private equity workflows
- Build intuitive dashboards and financial interfaces
- Work closely with investment teams to deeply understand portfolio monitoring and decision-making needs
- Translate complex, multi-layered financial data into clean, performant, and scalable UI
- Partner with Product, Design, and Backend teams on architecture, data flows, and product direction
- Integrate real-time and AI-powered analytics to support deal sourcing, valuation, and portfolio tracking
- Operate in a fast-moving environment, contributing across UI, data visualization, and system design
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years building production-grade web applications
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
- Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.)
- Strong data visualization skills (D3, Recharts, Highcharts, etc.)
- Experience with modern UI frameworks (Tailwind, Radix, Shadcn, MUI, etc.)
- Strong product thinking and ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A builder mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail
