Rock Truck Operator - Grunthal

Nelson River Construction is currently recruiting for a Rock Truck operator for our Aggregates team in Grunthal, MB. This is a seasonal position for the remainder of the 2025 season ending approximately in November.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a rock truck in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance of truck including, but not limited to, greasing, oil changes, fueling, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a quarry setting an asset
- Ability to work in an outdoor setting which includes inclement weather, heat, humidity and exposure to dust and noise
- Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work
- Physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Strong work ethic, and able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
- Punctual and able to work full time, overtime, and occasional weekends.
- Safety conscious
Hours of Work
- Monday to Thursday 6AM to 6PM
- Friday 6AM to 4PM
- Hours may vary slightly due to holidays, weather and project needs
Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the Grunthal and surrounding areas.
