Seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join the Team with experience using the Microsoft Power stack (Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate). The Developer will work within McKesson Specialty health D&A team throughout the development process for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and supports data-driven decision-making across business units.
Job description:
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake). Write and optimize SQL queries, and build ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Proficiency in Excel and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in delivering analytic findings to audiences with varied technical understanding.
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in building Power BI dashboards(mandatory).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
- Exposure to data science concepts is considered an asset.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong and consistent academic performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
