This role goes beyond technical proficiency—it's about unifying multidisciplinary teams, translating complex concepts across stakeholder levels, and driving engineering excellence in gas turbine test systems.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in instrumentation, controls, and data acquisition systems (DAS), along with a strong ability to organize and engage cross-functional teams. This individual will serve as the technical lead throughout the lifecycle of high-complexity, custom-engineered projects—ensuring integration, alignment, and delivery of cutting-edge measurement systems. They will be expected to drive projects forward to successful completion with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the interpersonal maturity to collaborate with highly experienced engineers, navigating technical discussions with confidence, respect, and clarity. They will combine technical excellence with emotional intelligence—listening, learning, and leading by aligning people around shared objectives. A systems thinker at heart, they will bring calm clarity to complex problems while building trust and cohesion across teams.

- Engage in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of instrumentation and DAS issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Engagement & Communication
- Act as the technical focal point within cross-functional teams, driving alignment and clarity among engineers, project managers, and production personnel.
- Effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences—from clients and executives to shop floor technicians—tailoring messages to the technical level of the recipient.
- Lead or contribute to design reviews, technical risk assessments, and change management processes.
- Foster a culture of open communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration.
- Build credibility quickly within the senior engineering team through respectful and clear technical dialogue.
- Help mentor junior engineers and engage with customers during technical meetings and installations.
Oversight, Governance & Travel
- Track and manage measurement system scope for cost, schedule, risk, and technical compliance.
- Own general assembly drawings and system-level documentation across disciplines.
- Travel to international client sites for design reviews, system integration, commissioning, and validation when required.
- Serve as the key liaison during critical installation milestones and handovers.
