Responsibilities

  • Provides human resources advice, counsel, and recommended solutions to managers and employees for the full employee life cycle.
  • Executes HR programs and policies in support of the people strategy regarding performance management, training and development, compensation, employee relations, recognition and engagement for their function teams.
  • Partners with Leaders and Talent Acquisition Specialist to align and execute on the workforce plan, ensuring pipeline of talent for the organization.
  • Facilitates career development action planning and succession planning in partnership with leaders identify high potential employees and ensure internal bench strength.
  • Participates in and/or leads specific projects or initiatives in support of the people strategy as required
  • Manage disability claims/leaves of absence and partner with the business to facilitate employee return to work process
  • Assists with the roll out of HR strategies and initiatives including creation of communication plans, prepares and delivers required communications, presentations and correspondence

Qualifications

  • A self-starter with the drive to deliver exceptional results with an ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple activities in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment while remaining positive and focused
  • A keen eye for detail and demonstrating a high sense of urgency in delivering high quality customer service
  • Collaborative in nature and possess finely tuned communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to protect confidential information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience with Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) would be an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
  • CPHR or equivalent as an asset
  • 4 – 8 years’ relevant/progressive experience in HR
  • Experience in CPG and/or manufacturing industry
