Job Description About the Position: Assisting the Accountant in the delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services to the organisation and support to the municipality within legislative and corporate guidelines, agreed timeframes and service standards. The position will contribute to the efficient, effective and compliant budget/financial management of the Shire of Broome and be involved in the delivery of high-quality services to both internal and external customers in accordance with the Shire of Broome Customer Service Charter.

- An accounting qualification or studying towards an accounting qualification, or relevant experience working in a similar role;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel & working spreadsheets;
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads;
- Have excellent attention to detail;
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills;
- A collaborative team approach.
