Nature Of The Work And General Responsibilities The teacher will be responsible for teaching students in English from grades 2 to 9. The teacher will be responsible for supervising groups and teaching according to the Alberta curriculum. The teacher will work with the school administration and staff to fulfill the educational mission of the school community in the areas of pedagogy, culture, and language.

Job Requirements

• Alberta teaching certification or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience teaching elementary and high school students.
• Knowledge of the Alberta Education curriculum.
• A positive, responsible, and independent attitude.
• Management and technology skills;
• Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written.
• Excellent knowledge of educational needs in minority settings.
• Appreciation of learner diversity;
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions regarding working with children.
