We are currently looking for energetic, hard-working Prep Crew to work a permanent part -time assignment on our Weekend Night Shift (Friday 23:00-07:00, Saturday 19:00 - 07:00, Sunday 19:00-03:00) at our Alliston facility. Pay rate is $29.70/hour plus applicable shift premium.

Prep crew is responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of Viaflex fill lines, fill machines, pumps, pipeworks, and parts, filling, tanks and change rooms. Monthly and weekly cleaning of classified and unclassified areas in Mixing and Filling departments. Cleaning of various equipment in mixing and filling areas (emplexes, trough washes, etc). Timely sanitization of all fill lines over the Weekend.

  • As part of the plant’s Enterprise Management System (EMS), all employees must embrace a culture of Continuous Improvement by:

  • Working with appropriate safety equipment, the position involves the handling of cleaning agents,
  • sanitization temperature water, working in confined tanks. Spray walls in tank room and mix room with standard cleaning solution using a power spray gun. Rinse with distilled water.
  • Clean walls in the fill room and change room manually with required cleaning agent.
  • Clean conveyors and all stainless in fill rooms, change rooms and pouching room.
  • Ball rinse tanks, Part washes. Fill tanks for required batches and assist with mixing Chlorinate floors in fill rooms and change room, empty and wash garbage pails. Assistance with line teardowns as required.
  • Mix loop, sanitization loop and rinse loop drops sanitization.
  • Foam lactate skids, black skids and Garbage can from change room with SCS.
  • Vacuum fume hood in prep crew room, wipe entire unit with 70% alcohol.
  • Drain alcohol from equipment sanitization bin. Rinse and refill
  • Inspect lower tank room drains and remove debris.
  • Lower Mix change room Foam walls, floor and ceiling with SCS.
  • Trough area Foam and rinse ceiling and walls with SCS.
  • Clean and remove rust from stainless steel. Clean out drain basket in lower tank room.
  • Inspect rust on HEPA filters Viaflex A,B,C,T line and in Viaflex tank room and weigh area.
  • Documentation of activity on EBR computer system.
